Some of the undeniably best wines come from Burgundy – especially wines from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. But the towns are also worth exploring: On your way to Beaune, you’ll drive through the famous wine regions of the Côte d’Or, as well as Pommard and Meursault, Chassagne and Puligny.
Enjoy a guided stroll through the old part of town after the visit to the famous Hôtel-Dieu. The “Hospices de Beaune” boasts a history spanning over more than 500 years and was a working hospital until 1971. Today it’s one of the most notable museums in France.
